Post pregnancy weight 6/7/2013: 155 lbs
Current weight 11/5/2013: 160.4 lbs
I had a beautiful baby girl on June 4, 2013. She has changed my life forever and for her I need to make some of my own changes. I've never been one to workout, as a matter of fact-I hate it! For so long I have looked up ways to change my diet and exercises that after reading through or watching I feel I could never get through or even do. I constantly discouraged myself. For so long I have told myself I CAN'T because of knee injuries and lack of motivation. For so long I have told myself I don't have time. It's those exact words that have made me make time. I want to have the longest amount of time to spend with my loved ones as I can. I need to make a change, and that change is happening now.
I have been impressed with myself all summer long because I weigh less after having a baby than I did before I became pregnant. I'm slowly starting to gain that weight back and it frightens me.
Day 1
I don't have much of a plan to start out, because exercise is a foreign language to me. I have decided to start out with 1 mile on my treadmill per day followed by an ab, arm or leg workout. Today, I did one mile at a fast paced walk and a pilates ab circuit from a link I found on pinterest. Experienced exercisers may laugh at that, I don't really know, but I'm open to advice and would really appreciate any comments or pointers to help me through this.
I'm on my way to a new me and it feels great! :)
